Installation of automatic devices in Iceland
AutoPollen participants installed a Swisens Poleno Mars in Akureyri in the North of Iceland on the 28th of July 2022. The device stands on the rooftop of the the Icelandic Institute of Nature Research (IINR). They also have a device in Reykjavik since May 2024.

Installation of an automatic device in Switzerland
In the context of the SYLVA project, a team went on top of the Jungfraujoch, in the Swiss Alps, to install a Swisens Poleno at an altitude of 3582 m. The goal is to detect in real-time the aerosols such as fungal spores or pollens present at such heights.

Installation of automatic devices in the Netherlands
On the 11th of April 2025 a Poleno Jupiter was festively opened for use on the roof of the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands. It will monitor pollen concentrations in a Dutch city in real time. New reference datasets already have been created with the Swisens Atomizer.
